Bachelorette Cake

This was for Kellie's friend Courtney who is getting married in August, I am doing her wedding cake also. This was her bachelorette cake, turned out pretty well and Kellie liked it so yay...as you can tell..still working on the handwriting..blah! I dont know if its my camera but the colors dont look as vivid as they were in person, I really need to learn how to make HOT pink..if anyone knows let me know!

Victorian Cake

So I had some of the colors left over from Madysen's Lady Bug cake so I decided to make another cake for hubby and my dad and the kids. I did a swag along the sides with rose buds at every point. Then a dot border and a pretty cluster of flowers in the middle. Turned out okay, the cluster of flowers didnt come out how I wanted but theres always next time!

Lady Bug Cake/Cupcakes!

This cake was so much fun also! Madysen's mom Kellie gave me a plate from the birthday theme to replicate onto the cake and cupcakes and at first I didnt like the color that I came up with. But surprisingly the color matched the plastic plates she had and the theme of the table so well. Madysen loved her little cake so much she wouldnt let anyone cut into it!!

Fire Truck Cake!!

This was the fire truck cake for a little boy named Logan who loves anything with wheels. He absolutely was astonished by this cake and even tried playing with it..he thought it was a real truck!!

Purse Cake!

This cake was so much fun to do! It is a purse *obviously* Next time I try this cake out, I am going to try to find this edible silver paint you can put on the detail to make it look like clasps etc.. to bring out the detail I put into the purse. Also hubby had a good idea and said next time I should make the bottom of the purse fatter to make it look more realistic. *like theres stuff in it*

MIL Birthday

Still working on the handwriting, but I fixed the size of the vines coming from the flowers and believe it looks better this way. MIL loved it, it was exactly what she wanted.. so I was pleased!

Father's Day!

Father's Day Cake I made for my dad. He wanted a chocolate cake with blue because thats his favorite color! My husband pointed out that I made the vines too thick on the cake and I agree, so with the next cake you can see how I adjusted the size of the vines.

Moms Birthday!

Chocolate cake that I made for my moms birthday, she wanted chocolate frosting with peach colored roses. I was really pleased with how this cake turned out, and she loved it!!

Bug Cupcakes!

These cupcakes I used a grass tip to make the grass, and then piped all the bugs by hand. Caterpillar, Butterflies and Lady Bug.

Mothers Day!

This was my Wilton Course II Final cake, we took the first two weeks making all the flowers which were made out of royal icing and then put the whole cake together at the final class with the basketweave side and rope border.

Pablo the penguin cake!

This is the Pablo the penguin cake and cupcakes made for a friends little boy.

Easter Cake/Cupcakes

This is the Easter cake that I made for Tiffany's family Easter get together.. This was one of my FAVORITE cakes, it came out so beautiful!

And these are the mini cupcakes I made for Arthur's preschool class and their Easter party.

Course I Final Cake!

This was my final cake for Wilton Course I, I did a rose bouquet with a small shell border with the purple sweet peas in the bottom border.

Next class..

This is where we learned drop flowers and shell border, as you can see my handwriting is very crooked but the teacher had said that the writing comes with time and boy was she right!!

First Cake Class!

This was my cake from my first Wilton cake class where we learned borders and the star tip, was actually asked by many people in the class why I was taking the beginners course :o) Its a pretty cute cake for like easter or something!

Halloween Cupcakes!

These are Halloween cupcakes I made for my sons Halloween party at his preschool, the kids liked them alot!

Dinosaur Cake!

This was for my Evan, on his third birthday. He loves dinosaurs and he was so ecstatic when he saw this cake. This cake was also before any cake classes.

Arthurs 3rd Birthday

This was the second cake I made without classes. It was for my sons 3rd birthday, and I tried very hard to make this look as nice as possible and I think it turned out pretty well :o)

Okay, so this was the first cake I have ever done. It made me really feel like with some classes this could be something I can get better at!! I got the idea off betty crocker. Its a half sheet cake with the flip flops on the top, and I used these airhead candy stripes as the thongs on the sandals.
